Manchester Xmas Market

Went with my daughter and her boyfriend to the Continental Christmas Market in Manchester last Saturday.

Lovely day out .. enjoyed all the fantastic craft stalls, food stalls and christmasy atmosphere.

Had some scrummy Swiss Raclette for lunch (boiled potatos, gerkins and Pickled onions covered in melted raclette cheese), and some traditional English Wassail to drink...followed by a Marzipan chocolate mushroom from one of the chocolate stalls!

Got some great craft ideas too, including ideas for sew itmes and jewellery!

Here are some pics from the day..

Oh, I am soooo jealous! We have nothing like this around here. One of these days I will get to the British Isles (and probably never want to leave)...

I love the little hedgehog :)
