Yule

Yeah ... Xmas is here!!!! After a short shopping trip this afternoon, I'll be putting up my tree and decorations, as it's Yule / winter Solstice tonight. Making Mulled cider too, from the recipe here!!!! As all my swaps have gone off, I'm looking forward to crafting a few things for myself over the holidays. I'll be catching up by knitting the 5 afghan squares (August - December) I should have knitted by now for the Ravelry knit-a-long. I've the purple aran yarn here, so can spend a few cozy evenings knitting these squares. I also want to cross-stitch a small winter sampler which has been in my 'to do' list for ages...another project I can enjoy doing now without pressure...

Then there is my reading .... I've lots of ghost stories etc. lined up for the festive season ... Happy holidays .......
