Aromatherapy

Today I'm going to be making up some 'magic potions' as my daughter calls them - i.e. some aromatherapy blends.
She's asked me for some skin softening oil for her stretch marks which she 's had since she grew up.
So, seeing as I'm going to make this today, I'm going to make some for Steve and myself as well. If made in small quantities they keep well in the fridge for a couple of months.

For Alison - stretch mark oil - containing Neroli, Mandarin & Jasmine
For my nails - almond oil containing lemon
A massage oil for my hair containing - rosemary, ylang ylang and lavender
A face massage oil - to use once a week - containing rosewood, frankincense and palmarosa
For Steve's bad back - a blend containing chamomile, black pepper and cedarwood.

I haven't given the recipes here, as you need to consult a qualified aromatherapist before using essential oils on the skin. You can be sensitive to some of the ingredients and some are not suitable for people with certain medical conditions. Some Aromatherapy oils are also toxic in large quantities.
However - you could look for retail products off the shelf containing these oils e.g rosemary shampoo for luscious hair, retail cuticle oils containing lemon, a massage cream containing jasmine or neroli, etc.
